Hei Perhe,

The Packers Baby!!!! I CALLED IT!!!! I CALLED IT WHEN I WAS ALL DRUGGED UP!!! Michelle, Brooke, Mom, and Bob-O were all there to witness it. haha. That's really cool that they are playing for the Super Bowl. Where is it at this year? I called Elder Lytle and rubbed it in his face cause he's a Vikings fan. Haha.

The puppies look huge! They must be growing pretty fast. How are the puppies doing? Is Ellie loving it? How is everybody doing?

We got a couple more investigators and dropped a couple investigators. Nothing too awesome. We have some good potentials lined up though which we are excited for. We currently have 7 investigators . We are working with them. Hopefully, we can get some big things going here soon.

The guy that Elders Hybarger, Baccile and me taught has moved his baptismal date to the 12th of February. But he is going to be baptized. Sweet! Elder Baccile was so excited when he called me. I'm excited for him.

We have a district meeting in Tampere on Wednesday with our President interviews which should be good. The drive from Turku to Pori is about 2 hours long. Somewhere in that range. Not too sure where I will be then. Anything can happen to us in this upcoming change call. We will see later though.

As far as a package goes, Is my old i-Tunes gone. Because if we still have it, grabbbing some missionary appropriate stuff from there would really be awesome to have for our car cause we drive everyday. If it is at all possible to make some more cds. If not, not a big deal. I can't really think of anything I need. Yes, like 2 things of floss. That's all. I should be good. Thank you for all that you have done. I really do appreciate it.

I don't have much else going on here again. No awesome stories. We are just working away trying to do some miraculous things. Hopefully, we can have a reallly good week this week. It should be.

That's all I have for you all. I love you and take care.

Love,
Vanhin Behnke

January 17, 2010

Hey,

The puppies are the cutest things ever. Thank you for all the stuff. I really appreciate it. I did get the letter from your primary class. Thanks!

Mr. Mac stuff. Elder Peck says that Mr. Mac has a return policy. Do you think you could look that up because that would be really cool if we could return things. Let me know.

I hope you liked the pictures. I like the Heisman shots too.

The Packers are in the NFC Championship! SWEET! If they get to the super bowl I will be pretty upset though. Glad it is fun for you all though.

That's pretty funny that Dad found Elder Slade.

I donät have too much going on here again. We got let in by 6 people last week tracting. Sweet! We are having a fun time. I will have to write you all some more stories soon if I can get some. We have 7 investigators right now and 1 came to church. We are rolling here. Hopefully we can get some more baptismal dates in the near future.

That's all I really have today.

Talk to you next week,
Love Elder Behnke

Hey Family,

Elder Peck and I are going another round here in Pori.

Also, I have the chain letter from Knapp, Mckay, and Nathan but I don't know where to send it because McKay is home and he is the next guy on the list to send it to. Could you find him and ask him if he still wants the letter or if I should just send it to Nathan now. If he wants to stay in it, get his address and i can send it to him. Also, if you could find Todd's address too that would be great.

As for Pori. We currently have 5 investigators. Most of them look like they are going to have to be dropped due to not reallly putting forth an effort.

I really have no idea what to write to you today.

We went on splits in Rauma with Elders Lytle and Isom. That was a lot of fun. Elder Lyle and Elder Isom got moose meat from a member so we had moose meat sandwiches. It was really good!

I tried to find a picture of an cobblestone ally way and these pictures were the best I could find. I'm sorry. Hopefully they will work though.

One of the persons I taught with Elder Hybarger and Elder Baccile is getting baptized next week.  He is an 18 year old kid. He's a stud. I'm pretty sure I worte to about him to you back in my Kerava days. It is pretty awesome. So there you go. I have been a part of 2 baptisms in Finland come next week. Pretty exciting.

The puppies! Awesome!

Well, That is really all I have this week. Hopefully the Packers can beat the Falcons. Is Rodgers back yet?

Take Care, I love you all

Hey family,

I don't have much to say this week. The puppies look really cute! Where did you get the name Reddmon? It's kind of a strange pick. Why not JohnnyBloodMcnally, Nitschke, Bullet, Sweetness (the would be cool), Ghost, Koira (finnish for 'dog'), Jet, Turbo, Ranger, Flash, Michael Vick, Captain, Bullseye, Major, Starr, Lombardi, Vince, I don't know.
FYI:  from Donna - we did take Elder Behnke's advise and changed Reddmon's name to Woodson - for Charles Woodson of the Green Bay Packers (my favorite player) and Ellie is calling him Woody - from Toy Story - phew, that was a long week trying to convince her that Reddmon wasn't the best pick!  Thank you Brian!!!
Not too much has happened

Last week, Elder Peck and I went to Kieli Koulu. Elders Groberg, Watson, Marlor, and I went to Pizza Hut for lunch and then went to the temple. It was great to see all of them again. Everyone is doing so well.

As for a funny story. Elder Peck and I go a visit this wonderful woman. She makes us pastries. I take a bite out of this one and it tastes ok. I keep eating it and now it just tastes horrible. It was awful. I'm struggling trying to eat all of it. I get time to one bite left. I'm so done and ready to throw up and try to get Elder Peck to eat the rest for me. He wouldn't do it!  I'm stuck! I man through it and survive. After we left, Elder Peck turns to me and says that he can't believe that I ate that whole pastry that was covered in mold! DANG COLOR-BLINDNESS! I coudn't tell it had mold at all! Elder Peck hung me out to dry. It was a horrible experience. :)

That's all I got. I have a district meeting this week. Change calls also happen on Saturday. Next email, I will include pictures.

Love you all,
Take care
